A mature oak tree that was situated opposite the property cast a huge shadow blocking a vast amount of afternoon sun light.
We performed a 25% crown reduction that removes the tips of the branches from the extremities of the tree leaving enough live ends to maintain the health of the tree.
This can be performed during the winter when the tree is dormant or during the summer when in full leaf.
"I used Hagglestock to reduce the size of a rather large oak tree opposite our house which was blocking quite a lot of light . Dan checked to make sure it didn’t have a preservation order on it and because of its location (on the edge of an ‘A’ road) it was safe to thin. I arrived home from work to find the tree had been trimmed incredibly sympathetically, the excess branches had all been cut to size to use in our log burner and the whole area clean and tidy. Dan even took a before and after photograph for me so I could see exactly what he had achieved. Very impressed. Would highly recommend using Dan and his team. I would certainly use them again."
